I’m a freelance multimedia journalist, the copy and style editor for The Uniter and a reporter for Bison Sports. In other words, I’m busy. I’m also a 2016 graduate of Red River College’s Creative Communications program, where I majored in journalism.
I’m fairly new in the journalism scene. I’ve primarily worked as a sportswriter and broadcaster, but I’ve branched out to cover pretty much everything from politics to crime to parades. On shoots, you can find me behind and in front of the camera.
I’m a big believer in brunch, and I’m almost always that person walking out of the library with a stack of 17 books in her hands. Ace Burpee recently named me one of the Top 100 Most Fascinating Manitobans of 2016 for my broadcast work with the Winnipeg Goldeyes. My mom thinks that’s pretty cool.
